Sasha Hunter was born in 1982. She grew up in middle class family and was educated in public school. She shares her love of life with interests in psychology, food, fashion, education reforms and liberal penchant for animals e.g. her favorites, horses. She is currently working on her doctoral project as a scientific researcher.
Her next tentative project is founding a charity for educating poor and gifted children.
Her motto “Every child deserves an education.”
P.S. As I have received several inquires about the charity work I am giving a small project goal here; I intend to launch a ‘Charity for Gifted’ in an underprivileged town/city/country. The focus of this charity will be to help the children under its care reach their maximum potential and provide an education of global standard.

Hi Candi. You are welcome. I loved public school; only hated the maths and physics teacher(s) and a few assorted others and my principal too. Loved my biology teacher to bits; she was a sweetheart; and the drawing one. I was miserable in private school which wanted money, money, money etc.; you get the picture.

To be honest I think something like an apology might be in order. I was early at my desk and a bit sleepy with a whiff of grumpiness. . At best mine was an over reaction. at worst it was rude and for what its worth I am sorry if it caused any offense. I do have a pet hate about people “Liking” Blogs they havn’t read, but in the scale of things its hardly an important matter. Sorry once more and a virtual cup of tea if your ever in my neighbourhood.

Have you seen the work of the Institutes for the Achievement of Human Potential in Philly?..These are the people who like to teach babies to read… recently they have fallen out of favor.. but I have seen 2 generations of kids raised on their work..

I was very interested to read about your charity. I’ve been quite involved in the education of gifted children in the past and worked with children from deprived areas. Do you have more details about your plans?

I ask, because ‘public school’ means different things in Britain and the rest of the world – in Britain, it doesn’t make sense, because it isn’t public – not unless you have a lot of money. When communicating internationally, I have discovered there can easily be misunderstandings even within the English speaking world!

As a dietitian, I am more concerned with helping people of all sizes to be HAPPY than I am about how much they weigh. That does necessitate eating enough to avoid being too hungry to think and work!
